As part of the AEA Career Center services, we are hosting a Recruitment Fair in Salon A at the Hilton on Saturday, November 6, from 9 am to 1pm.
For recruiters/representatives: If your organization has a need for evaluation professionals on your staff, or has internships available that are appropriate to evaluation students, we would like to invite you to participate in the Recruitment Fair. The recruitment fair will offer an opportunity for your organization's staff to let evaluation professionals know about your organization, share current opportunities with job seekers, meet current job seekers face to face, and conduct informal interviews with potential candidates. Recruiters will be provided with a table space at no cost, on which they may display job announcements and organization information. Names of organizations participating in the Recruitment Fair will be posted in the Job Bank throughout the week, and sign up sheets for informational interviews will be available during the entire conference. In addition, recruitment staff who are not attending the conference will be admitted to the Job Bank on Saturday at no cost. If you would like to participate or have questions about participation, please e-mail Stephen Axelrad at email@example.com by Monday, October 18th The AEA Career Center is historically well attended, with hundreds of participants each year, representing a wide range of evaluation skills and expertise. We hope you will take advantage of this exciting (and FREE) opportunity to recruit candidates and share information about your organization!
For job/internship seekers: If you are seeking to participate in the Recruitment Fair, check in at the Career Center at your earliest convenience during the conference. There you will find sign up lists for face-to-face informational interviews to take place on Saturday, November 6. Sign up for interviews as soon as possible as spaces are limited and are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend that you bring a copy of your resume to each informational interview.
There is no computer room on the conference floor for Evaluation 2004. Computers are available in Kinkos in the hotel lobby and the Hilton offers internet access in its sleeping rooms.
