If you are looking
for an evaluation position, consultant or employee, the Evaluation
2006 Career Center is the place to go! At the Conference Career Center, you can
review resumes, consultant information, job announcements, and
requests for proposals and leave messages or identify at-conference
contact information for employers/job seekers. Conference Career Center
services are offered at no charge to conference attendees.
Conference Career
Center volunteers will be available to help you share your
information, and to find the job, consultant or employee you are
looking for. Annually over 150 employers, job seekers and
consultants use the Conference Career Center. This year, the
Conference Career
Center will be located in the Salon Ballroom Foyer at the Hilton
Executive Tower. The hours of operation are: How to participate:
You (or a representative from your company) MUST be attending
the conference to participate in the Onsite Career Center. If you
will not be attending and would like your resume/job posted to the
AEA online Job or Resume Bank ONLY please

Electronic
Submission: We are no longer accepting electronic submission for
the Onsite Career Center. Please refer to the hardcopy
submission instructions below.

Download and complete the appropriate information sheet below.
Bring 8 copies of
your completed information sheet and
your
resume/vitae or
position description
(4 pages maximum) to drop off at the
conference. (Drop off on Tuesday or Wednesday at the registration
desk, or at the Career Center on Thursday or Friday.)

Job/Resume banks AFTER the conference please

Come to the Career
Center starting Thursday to review the binders of opportunities or
candidates.
Leave notes for the
people you want to connect with in the message boxes at the Career
Center OR contact them via cell phone to set up a time to talk.
Find your ideal
position, consultancy or candidates.
Tips for Success:
To get your
information to the most people, sign up in advance and have your
information put in the online Job or Resume bank.
Get your information
in no later than Wednesday November 1st so that everyone
who comes to the Career Center can see it.
Keep
your resume or position description to 4 pages long maximum. We will
only post the first 4 pages in the notebooks.
Read the cover
sheets carefully to make sure you are using the best method to
contact people.
Leave notes or
contact the people you want to talk to. Don’t wait for them to
contact you.
Prior to the
conference, check the Online Career Center (see below) and set up
meetings for at the conference (please do this only for those online
listings that show that they will be represented at the conference.

year-round at
http://www.eval.org/Programs/careercenter.asp. Many employers and job seekers who will
participate in the Evaluation 2006 Conference Career Center will be
cross-listed at the online Career Center. You may wish to peruse the
online listings prior to the event. If you will not be able to
participate in the onsite Conference Career Center but would like to
post your resume or job to AEA's Online Career Center, please
visit the link above.
