This year, the conference will be held in San Antonio, Texas, with conference sessions at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio. We hold room blocks at the conference headquarters hotel and some wonderful overflow properties.
UPDATE: All discounted room blocks are now sold out. We recommend using expedia.com and selecting "Find hotels near -> An attraction" enter "Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, San Antonio" in the "What attraction?" box. Note that the AEA Conference is not at the Convention Center - it is immediately next door at the Grand Hyatt; however, the Convention Center is the largest attraction in the immediate vicinity. Look very carefully at three things: (1) the Distance from the address/landmark line that appears under the Hotel name; (2) the ratings; and (3) the availability over your dates.
