LISTING
AEA's "Find
An Evaluator" database is used by members and nonmembers to identify
individuals and firms available for consulting. It is to these listings
that the AEA office refers anyone seeking evaluation assistance.
To be listed, you must meet the following
criteria:
a) maintain current membership in the
American Evaluation Association,
b) have an active website to which we may
link that describes your
consulting services (see below if you do not have a website currently),
c) be available for consulting work
in the field of evaluation, and
d) provide honest and accurate information about your
firm, capacity, and services via the website to which your listing is
linked.
AEA lists both individuals and firms.
Listings for firms may include any, or all, current AEA members on
staff as contacts.

Because the "Find an Evaluator" database allows for
only a short statement with each listing, AEA requires that you have a website in order to be listed so that
those seeking an evaluator have somewhere to go to learn more about the
scope of services that you offer and/or your areas of expertise.
Need a webpage, but do not have one currently? While there are
many options for purchasing a web page and/or hiring a designer, we have
compiled a list of options that allow you to develop a free or very
low cost webpage without website design expertise. Each of these
hosts has its strengths and drawbacks, but among the following

YAHOO! GEOCITIES Geocities offers 15MB of storage space. Free,
easy-to-use tools are available to help you create your website--no knowledge of HTML required. You値l also receive free clip art,
counters, tickers, and more. All Geocities free websites include banner
ads. The allowable bandwidth is 3 GB per month. This is an important
consideration; if your website is popular, you may go over your
allowable bandwidth and the host will temporarily shut down your site
(this is not likely if it is strictly a site advertising your consulting
firm). For an additional $4.95 a month, your website can be ad free, and

FREE WEBS Free webs has the advantage of no banner or pop up
ads on your web pages (although text ads will be used). You値l also
receive up to 40 MB of storage space. You can customize your web
address, and even have your own domain name. (A customized address would

A domain name would be like this: www.yoursitename.com
) Free Webs also offers free website building tools that don稚 require
any knowledge of HTML, plus all kinds of other freebies, including tools
to build forms and polls, add counters, chat rooms, guestbooks, and

TRIPOD Offering 20MB of storage space and 1 GB of monthly
bandwidth, a free website at Tripod also has lots of bonuses. For
example, there痴 a free blog building tool, as well as a user-friendly
tool for creating websites without HTML knowledge. You値l also find
free clip art. All free Tripod websites include ads. For $4.95 a month
