Abstract: Organizations frequently employ processes to evaluate their training programs. However, the stakeholder groups have evaluation needs, concerns and intended uses that may be not only incompatible or misaligned, but also occasionally in direct conflict. In this demonstration session we describe the tools and process used to identify stakeholders, assess their needs and planned uses for the evaluation data gathered. Using the checklists available on the website of the Evaluation Center at Western Michigan University and the program evaluation standards, an organization's internal evaluators and a doctoral student at Western Michigan University sought to apply the best of guidance for evaluators in a real-life organizational setting. In this session we demonstrate the processes we used and offer practical advice.
