Abstract: The United States Army Command and General Staff College (UASCGSC) developed a process for measuring the learning outcomes of adult graduate students for accreditation purposes. This measurement is part of our graduate degree program evaluation. As part of a think tank session a facilitator will share the USACGSC process. After the initial presentation, participants will self select one of two small group breakout sessions. One group will share how their graduate schools measure student learning outcomes and use evaluation data. The other group will brainstorm ideas for improvement or implementation of a student learning outcomes measurement system. Finally both groups will share a synopsis of their brainstorming.
