| Abstract: This workshop will address evaluation contract issues from the point of consultant, purchaser, and management. Through sample contracts participants will learn about important contractual considerations such as deliverables, timelines, confidentiality clauses, rights to use/ownership, budget, client and evaluator responsibilities, protocol, and more. In addition the workshop will include some discussion about how to negotiate contracts, as well as contract addendums. Participants will receive materials as examples of the items discussed. Samples will include independent consultant contracts; contracts developed by purchasers; and management contracts for those hiring multiple evaluators. Participants are encouraged to bring topics for discussion during the question and answer session at the end. |
