| Abstract: Success Case Method is a well established evaluation approach focused on program improvement. Some believe it is the "next big thing" in evaluation methods. The critical element is deciding what "success" means. Traditionally this is achieved through a single perspective logic model. Soft systems methodology provides a rigorous and robust means of determining "success" from a variety of different perspectives. The lecture will look at examples of applying soft systems to Success Case Method and consider when such a marriage might and might not be successful. |
