| Abstract: With the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act and the public's increasing emphasis on accountability, school just got tougher-that is, for those in the business of education. Consequently, numerous online evaluation systems and tools have been developed in recent years that deliver data integration and data analysis services in real-time to: - Simplify data collection, analysis, and reporting across multiple sites; - Automate completion of annual performance reports (APRs); - Increase accountability; and - Facilitate data-driven decision making. This session provides a comprehensive demonstration of one such tool, the GEAR UP Online Evaluation System (GOES), which has been implemented in a number of states to track demographic, program participation, academic performance, and survey results at the individual student-, parent-, and teacher-levels from multiple sites longitudinally. |
