| Abstract: The session will provide an opportunity for session leaders and facilitators to present on progress resulting from participation in the National Science Foundation - QEM (Quality Education for Minorities Network) -Broadening Participation Initiative for Minority Serving Institution faculty- and for attendees to learn from and contribute to these ongoing efforts. Each panelist will discuss briefly resultant development and operationalization of concepts and activities related to Culturally Competent Evaluation in teaching, research and service focusing on diverse communities, evaluators in training and particular institutional applications and implications (key question). Groups will be formed focusing on specific academic and professional applications and attendees will discuss, elaborate and suggest related to their own interests and expertise. The Panel will collect and organize the proceedings in an effort to facilitate self examination and further development of evaluation skills and implementation strategies of all participants/attendees which will be emailed to all involved. |
