| Abstract: Federal grants and programs are increasingly emphasizing the importance and attention to evaluation. Strong and measurable project objectives and program measures are critical to both good proposals and successful evaluations. This demonstration focuses on key criteria for high quality project objectives and performance measures using the federal government language and criteria. It will help increase the understanding of the relationships between project activities and intended program outcomes. This will help to create better evaluation designs which will in turn produce evaluations that are easier to implement and run. Participants will receive a framework used for federal government evaluations and information needed to develop strong and measurable project objectives and performance measures. In addition they will be provided with practical strategies and planning devices to use when writing project objective and measures. |
