| Abstract: This closing session will use the conference as an example of the challenges of, and possibilities for, ongoing learning among evaluators, with an emphasis on being reflective practitioners. The Chair and the Discussant will start the session by sharing what they have observed and learned during their days at the conference. Participants will then be asked to consider their own learning and the particular factors that contributed to (or hindered) their learning at the conference. Opportunities to share key learnings/take aways with the larger group will be provided. This session offers the opportunity to individually and collectively make meaning of the conference experience. As such, it closes the conference with one last reminder of the relationship between evaluation and learning. As an added bonus, at the end of the session, a drawing will be held where the winner will be given a lifetime membership to AEA. Only those participating for the entire session will be eligible to win this grand prize! |
