| Abstract: Completing rigorous evaluations in a cost-savings mode is a goal for many in the non-profit and public sectors. Examples of completed evaluations that utilized various cost-savings procedures will be noted, along with a summary of effective strategies that produce evidence-based research and program evaluation studies in a cost-effective manner. Best practice examples include: quasi-experimental methods, comparison group designs, and mixed-methods approaches to program evaluation. |
