| Abstract: Getting to Outcomes (GTO) has assisted practitioners in planning, implementing, and evaluating programs within many contexts, including substance abuse prevention, teen pregnancy prevention, and promoting developmental assets. As part of the OASIS state infrastructure grant in South Carolina (SC-SIG), GTO is being utilized to assist four demonstration sites in planning, implementing, and evaluating systems change around family involvement in systems of care in child and family mental health services. The ten accountability questions of GTO, which will be customized to fit this particular content area, include needs/resource assessment, identifying goals and objectives, best practices, fit of programs into host organization, planning, implementation and process evaluation, outcome evaluation, continuous quality improvement, and sustainability. The ten steps will provide a strategic process for program stakeholders in reviewing and modifying policies and procedures relevant to family-driven care. |
