| Abstract: Building on the Think Tank session entitled 'Learning from AEA TIG Proposal Review Standards' that was held at the 2007 AEA Conference, this session will continue an open but structured discussion about issues and concerns regarding variability in the quality of proposals and presentations offered at the annual conference. All AEA attendees are invited to attend the session and participate in re-examining the appropriateness and usefulness of existing criteria for reviewing session proposals, and then engage in an interactive discussion aimed at assisting AEA with articulation of specific requirements, criteria, and appropriate measures for assessing the quality of proposals and presentations offered in the respective sessions at the conference. Most importantly, participants will have an opportunity to offer suggestions that could help AEA in making incremental quality improvements that would address attendees' concerns regarding variability in the quality of presentations made at the annual conference. |
