| Abstract: Part of the AEA vision states that 'We support developing relationships and collaborations with evaluation communities around the globe to understand international evaluation issues.' How should we choose which groups to partner with and what forms could such partnerships take? During this session the AEA International Committee will share its proposals for an AEA Partnership Policy, then solicit ideas from participants on these as well as other ideas for fostering partnerships with associations of professional evaluators around the world. In break-out groups we will brainstorm criteria for selecting partners as well as ideas for activities that would be mutually beneficial to AEA and partner groups. We will also consider which sub-groups within AEA, such as local affiliates, might be interested in forming partnerships with international groups. I.e. we would be promoting multiple forms of partnerships, not just one predetermined AEA-level institutional type of relationship with a limited number of partners. |
