| Abstract: This session demonstrates how to use Microsoft Visual Basic and Microsoft databases (Access or SQL Server) to automate data reporting processes. Specifically, we will demonstrate how to generate a complex report of data errors and/or inconsistencies in Excel format and how to generate a comprehensive data report including graphics and tables in PowerPoint format using Microsoft Visual Basic 2005 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005. As an additional illustration of the power of automation, we will also demonstrate how to generate unique tracking numbers for surveys in Word format, using Microsoft Access as the database. |
