Session Title: Linear and Logistic Regression for Program Evaluation
Skill-Building Workshop 213 to be held in Centennial Section B on Thursday, Nov 6, 9:15 AM to 10:45 AM
Sponsored by the Quantitative Methods: Theory and Design TIG
Presenter(s):
Tessa Crume,  Rocky Mountain Center for Health and Education,  tessac@rmc.org
Abstract: Linear and logistic regression can be popular techniques for assessing relationships between outcome and predictor variables in program evaluation. Learn how the casual user statistics can employ these techniques to efficiently assess the impact of variables on the outcome, controlled for the influence of others. Basic rules, steps, and theories of how to build logistic and linear regression models and interpret their results will be reviewed and applied to program evaluation scenarios. Strong background in math NOT REQUIRED.
