| Abstract: This Think Tank's goal is to explore and define what it means to fully engage Elders in program evaluation by engaging with Elders at the annual AEA conference in a relaxed discussion format. Three Elders who are recognized cultural experts will join evaluators interested in learning how to incorporate Elder wisdom and knowledge in evaluations conducted in Indigenous communities. Participants will join in a circle to share experiences and explore ideas that can be tested in various evaluation settings. We hope to stimulate increased partnerships with Elders and to more fully learn from their wisdom while engaging them in our work. |
