| Abstract: An external evaluation team, iEval, was hired to work with a Healthy Marriages program. The program staff conducted their own internal evaluation for years. At the start of the partnership, the external evaluators conducted a thorough meta-evaluation to determine what had been done, what needed to be done, and where the gaps and strengths of internal evaluation processes were. This session will focus on the implementation of the meta-evaluation process, the reporting of meta-evaluation findings, the use of data by the client to make program improvements, and how the meta-evaluation directed the subsequent evaluation plan. |
