Abstract: As one of two Army masters degree-granting Colleges, the Command and General Staff College recognizes that curriculum change must be grounded in evidence. Curriculum change grounded in evidence is imperative to ensure that Army officers are attaining the education they need to be critical and creative thinkers, prepared to win our nation's wars - and secure the nation's peace. Additionally, the College must assure Congress that joint and professional military education is occurring. The College answers also to taxpayers, who want proof that the military officers are capable of making leadership decisions that will protect the nation and effectively lead Soldiers to accomplish their missions. The most convincing way to answer both Congress and the taxpayer is to do an accurate, effective curriculum program evaluation. Program Evaluation Plan is an integrated part of the analysis, design, develop, implement and evaluate (ADDIE) process used to develop curriculum at the College. This session will share the Program Evaluation Plan process with participants as well as offer opportunities for other organizations to share processes relevant to their unique contexts.
