| Abstract: Presenters at this session will demonstrate a sophisticated, interactive, multi-media website designed to give evaluators of community-based programs the tools to conduct scientifically sound evaluations and work effectively with their clients. The website features: * An interactive Evaluation Tutorial, designed to highlight the decisions that must be made by program providers and evaluators during each stage of evaluation (e.g., planning, design, data collection, data analysis, data interpretation, and reporting of findings). It also offers best practices in various design, data collection and analysis techniques. Exercises to reinforce learning are included. * Video consultations that simulate the conversations that should occur between program providers and evaluators during various stages of evaluation. * A database containing over 100 written resources that offers information on a range of issues covered throughout the stages of program evaluation. Resources come in the form of reports, tip sheets, and other related instructional materials. |
