| Abstract: In a perfect world, an evaluator will use SMART objectives (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timed) to gauge progress in program implementation, outcomes, or both. But even with SMART objectives, interpretations and assumptions underlie decisions on how the objective is reported, and unless these are clarified there will be considerable confusion when it comes time to report progress. This skill-building workshop will teach participants how to make SMART objectives even SMARTer by anticipating some common pitfalls associated with their design and reporting. Practical, concrete examples will be presented, computed, and discussed. |
