| Abstract: This demonstration features how the concept of speed dating (SD) can be applied as a methodology in work and community settings to facilitate networking and the sharing of ideas and information among participants in an efficient and effective manner. It also provides opportunities for matchmaking of participants interested in shared issues. Applying the concept to M&E processes, SD provides a quick (and often fun) way to facilitate individual and group ideas, information, and opinions. The concept can be used in a variety of ways, ranging from exchanging ideas on developing program goals for logic models, to collecting user opinions about service delivery. Attendees of this demonstration will participate in a simulated session. They will also receive handouts with tips and tools to use in developing their own "speed dating" M&E sessions. |
