| Abstract: Over the past decade, the practice of Youth Participatory Evaluation has grown significantly, evidenced by increased articles, books and social networks focusing attention on the subject, along with curricula, toolkits, and web trainings. However, even with all of these new developments, questions about youth participation remain: Where is the field now and where are we going? With the proliferation of articles and materials, have we learned anything new? What types of impacts are being documented (e.g., on youth, adults, programs, organizations, and the field of evaluation)? What work needs to be done to continue supporting meaningful quality youth participatory evaluation efforts? This think tank session will engage audience members in addressing these questions through small and large discussion groups. The goals of this think tank will be to facilitated peer learning, gather key information about the current state of the field, and create actionable steps to further advance the work. |
