| Abstract:
The NSF’s Advanced Technological Education program makes between 75 and 90 new awards each year, all of which require evaluation. Program grantees are in need of skilled and responsive evaluators, but they don’t know where to find them and often are not even sure what an evaluator is supposed to do for them. This presentation will provide an overview of the program and its grantees, NSF’s expectations for grant-level evaluations, and grantees’ evaluation needs. In addition, audience members will learn about opportunities for collaboration to develop evaluation training, tools, and methods to enhance evaluation practice within the program and beyond.
