| Abstract: NativityMiguel Network of Schools was a crossroads. Despite stacks of research, and personal experience that its holistic model of Catholic middle-school education changed lives, the Network struggled to identify and prioritize its highest impact services and to understand and communicate that impact to its board and potential funders. Furthermore, the Network lacked a cohesive vision for the future of the organization that would serve as the foundation for growth. The Network turned to evaluation as a path to success. Hear how NativityMiguel used evaluation to define its mission, guide its programming, change the organizational culture and position it for growth. Mission Measurement will share the approach they used, including stakeholder engagement, collaborative workshops and benchmarking, to develop NativityMiguel’s plan for continuous evaluation. Melodie Wyttenbach will share the nuts and bolts of implementation, from the challenges of staffing, budgeting and buy-in, to the success of achieving higher-value outcomes. |
