Abstract: Calls for integrating academic, behavioral, and social-emotional services to meet the needs of students have increased in recent years. One approach gaining momentum involves integrated multi-tiered systems of student supports (MTSSS) that matches the focus and intensity of instruction to student needs based on data across all three domains (i.e., academic, behavioral, social-emotional). However, little information is available on how to integrate existing initiatives across these domains into one unified system of service delivery. This demonstration will describe how one state is using an evaluation approach referred to as logic modeling to inform the development, implementation, and evaluation of an integrated MTSSS. The process used to involve key stakeholders in the development and use of the evaluation model; the components of the model including evaluation questions, tools, and procedures; and next steps to be taken will be shared.
