| Abstract: Effective team work can determine the overall effectiveness of a metaevaluation. In any group activity, team members assume roles. It is important for any metaevaluation team leader to be aware of team member roles and learn to use each role to increase the overall effectiveness of the metaevaluation process. Failing to recognize harmful team member roles may undermine the metaevaluation process, cost a team leader to lose current and future clients, miss important deadlines, and lose team members due to team conflict. The purpose of this proposal is to discuss the various roles team members assume during a metaevaluation and the various roles a team leader must assume to maintain control of the metaevaluation and ensure project completion. We will also discuss methods to build team cohesiveness, encourage buy in, delegate effectively based on team member roles, and ultimately get the job done. |
