| Abstract: This session explores the role of identity and values in our work as female evaluators. Participants will identify their own values and identities, naming the primary ones and looking at the ways in these values and identities interact with their work as evaluators. Session leaders represent a diverse array of backgrounds, and particularly different life choices common among professional women. They will share how their values and identities simultaneously enhance and challenge the process and product of their work, attending to their internal processes as well as how they are perceived by clients. Participants will then break into groups to examine their values and dimensions of their own identities. Participants will have an opportunity for personal reflection and processing and leave with a personal values statement to use as they wish. |
