| Abstract: The demand for evaluation and evaluation services has increased dramatically over the past decade. As evaluation practice has blossomed world-wide, universities, evaluation professional associations, government agencies, foundations, non-profit and for-profit organizations have become actively involved in providing professional development workshops, certificates and professional designations, and masters and doctoral degrees in evaluation. What is the value of the careers that can result from this advanced training and education in evaluation? Professor Stewart Donaldson will provide answers to this question as well as explore a range of career development issues that are directly relevant for graduate students and working professionals interested in working in the diverse transdisciplinary field of evaluation. |
