In addition, we will demonstrate how to analyze descriptive statistics, recode and re-label variables, and produce descriptive tables in R. We will also provide an overview of more recent, qualitative data analysis capabilities in R. Syntax will be reviewed in R and results in R will be compared with familiar packages such as SPSS and Excel.
