| Abstract: In recent years, there has been increasing emphasis in science and technology research on interdisciplinary team efforts, particularly in health, environmental, and global change research. These complex team efforts are fraught with difficulties that have been identified through numerous case studies. In this Roundtable we will discuss opportunities for integrating Theory-Driven Developmental Evaluation methods with Design-Based Research methods to inform our understanding of interdisciplinary research teams, assess team effectiveness, and improve team outcomes.
