| Abstract: International donor agencies, implementing partners and management experts have been struggling to develop suitable performance indicators for their democracy interventions. While they have come up with a plethora of such indicators, the reliability, validity and utility of many of these indicators remain questionable. Moreover, there is no consensus about them. The Round-Table will discuss recent attempts to develop performance indicators for democracy interventions and the lessons which evaluators have learnt. A brief background paper listing critical lessons will be shared with the participants for discussion. |
