AEA members receive special member pricing on our two largest events:
AEA’s annual Evaluation conference offers hundreds of opportunities to learn from your colleagues and thought-leaders in the field. Through more than 50 workshops, 700 concurrent sessions, and 100 posters, learn best practices and trends in evaluation.
We also offer the Evaluation Summer Institute, which provides high-caliber education delivered in a more intimate setting. The Summer Evaluation Institute features interactive workshops with a focus on the diverse issues unique to evaluation professionals.
Each month, AEA members have free access to 20-minute learning opportunities through our Coffee Break webinars. These Coffee Breaks share smart tips for evaluators, tools for enhancing your practice, and insights into new concepts impacting evaluation. Members also receive special pricing on our in-depth eStudy courses, which provide expert guidance on top-of-mind evaluation topics.
PROMOTION OF YOUR SERVICES
Members are added to our “Find an Evaluator” tool. Members and nonmembers alike use this tool to collaborate, develop partnerships, and connect with other professionals who are conducting similar evaluations. The “Find an Evaluator” tool has consistently been our highest viewed webpage, giving our members maximum visibility.
Membership includes participation in up to five of AEA’s 50+ Topical Interest Groups (TIGs). Each TIG offers a professional community of colleagues who share similar interests and professional foci. Through TIG involvement, members influence sessions chosen for the annual conference, have an impact on AEA initiatives, and receive regular newsletters and electronic updates regarding the latest happenings in the field and the Association.
GLOBAL EVALUATION COMMUNITY
AEA has more than 7,000 members who communicate, seek advice, and find resources through EVALTALK, our evaluation-focused discussion forum. EVALTALK is a key resource in communicating with other evaluators with diverse and unique backgrounds.
AEA members enjoy free access to industry job postings via AEA's newly updated Career Center. In the Career Center, you can upload your resume, search for job openings, and subscribe to tailored job alerts.
Members receive hardcopy and electronic subscriptions to AEA’s two journals, The American Journal of Evaluation (AJE) and New Directions for Evaluation (NDE), members also receive electronic access to both current and back content from Evaluation Review and Evaluation and the Health Professions right from their desktops.
In addition to registration discounts, members receive twenty-percent (20%) off on the majority of publications in the field when ordered directly from our publishing partners: Corwin Press, Guilford Publications, Oxford University Press, SAGE, Jossey Bass and Wiley.
